In this session we were joined by Catherine Sandler, preeminent business coach, author and consultant and our Chief People Officer, Nick Bartlett to discuss your top people issues.

About Dr. Catherine Sandler

Catherine has worked in the field of leadership development for more than 25 years and is one of the UK’s most experienced executive coaches. She specializes in work with senior individuals at Board and Director level across the business sector. Catherine has taught at leading educational institutions including London Business School and INSEAD and has been a consultant and PhD supervisor at the Tavistock Clinic. Her own doctorate is from Oxford University and she is a qualified counselor. In 2011 Catherine’s book Executive Coaching: A Psycho dynamic Approach was published by McGraw-Hill and is recommended reading on most coaching training programmes. Catherine has also written articles for a wide range of professional journals and has been interviewed for features on leadership and executive stress in the FT and The Times. She runs masterclasses and training programmes for other coaches in the UK and abroad and is currently running a series of webinars.

About Nick Bartlett

Nick Bartlett Joined 1E in December 2013 as Vice President for Global HR and is responsible for the development and delivery of Human Resources for the group. As part of the Executive team, Nick’s role focuses on the company’s global HR strategy in effort to position 1E as a world-class organization.

Nick has more than 15 years’ experience in operations and Human Resource Management across a number of sectors including social media, mobile, IT, not-for-profit, e-commerce, and retail.

He has experience working in a number of complex organizations developing Global HR structures. Before joining 1E. Nick worked at GREE, one of the world’s largest mobile gaming platform providers where he was HR Director for EMEA. Originally from an operations background, Nick is focused on commercial success, but understands the importance people play in the growth and development of an organization.

Nick holds a BA in South Asian Studies from the University of London, and a MSc in Human Resources Management from King’s College, London.
